Today we continue the exciting study on the resurrection in Philippians 3, which discusses the body of the humiliation of us, more commonly understood as the resurrection of our vile body based on the KJV text. For many this is understood to be the physical body and often they will read physical body into the text. Yet, no where does it state physical body. 

In examining this chapter, we must also see the comparison with Romans 11 and the hope of Israel. See last weeks lesson for the foundation laid and the discussion on eternal life, the resurrection taught in Job and the out resurrection from the dead.
