The Ikitu tribe call these alleged extraterrestrials "los pelacaras, or "face peelers." These creatures reportedly have an appetite for humans and villagers are living in fear after numerous sightings and attacks, including a 15-year-old girl who escaped the grasp of one alien, leaving her in shock with bloody gash wounds on her neck.
Villagers have shot at the creatures, and they reportedly disappear or take off into the jungle with discs on their feet. The villagers demanded that the Peruvian Navy intervene to protect them from these beings. The authorities and media in Peru are taking this matter very seriously.
