In Australia and around the world we have seen interest rates rapidly rip move upwards and community sentiment, initially at least, push property prices down.
We live in a world where most people have a finite servicing capacity and therefore as interest rates rise the amount, they can borrow falls.
We are seeing both residential and commercial rental rates increasing at a time when landlords are seeing their profitability eroded not just by interest rates but increased government charges and other costs such as insurance.
