In Matthew 24, Jesus opens up the disciples’ eyes to what things will look like in the end times. However, did you know that many phrases He uses in Matthew 24 can be directly traced to 1 & 2 Maccabees? Therefore, is it possible that what happened in those days is a shadow of what is coming upon the earth?
