The problem with the Johnsen 30-06 is the info comes from Hemming who's known to modify any story he tells ! Hemming says on the day of the assassination he called a contact in Dallas asking if Hall was in Dallas 11-22-63 ,, His reason for his interest as to Halls whereabouts was Hall had stated his intention to kill JFK in Dallas and Hall had gotten his 30-06 out of pawn.. Now if that happens to be one of Hemmings true stories,, Then anyone in Hemmings position would no doubt breakout in assholes and shit himself to death,, So after Hemmings contact confirmed Halls presence in Dallas, Hemmings would contact either the DPD or FBI to cover his ass Incase the 30-06 was used in the assassination! So the FBI got in touch with the California dept relaying the details of Hemmings story,,, So when the FBI agents question the guys who the gun was pawned to by Hemming they used the info they had been given,,, Either to confirm Hemmings story or not.. Of course Hemmings told another story about driving to the dentist house in Miami where Hall had left the trailer load of guns including 30-06,, Hemming says he personally retrieved it himself,,, So depends which Hemmings story is true,, But it's likely the FBI got the who what ,when ,where and why they were asking !
