Seraphim Hamilton joins me to cover the exegetical questions around justification by faith alone, his debate with a recent reformed Calvinist, the issue of historical theology and created grace, Trent and the counter-reformation, the Augustinian problem (for Protestants - St. Augustine was not a Calvinist!) and the cosmic theology of Orthodox Ecumenical Councils, which also refutes Lutheran errors. The the problem with "debating" Catholics is they only want to refer to the "church fathers" and supposed "early christianity" instead of the bible which is what catho!icism was supposedly based on. So they use people that agree with their form of theology as a basis to argue the same theology. If the debate was based on the bible alone, then Catholicism and orthodoxy are always exposed for what they really are, the religion of Cain which was the first works based salvation ever. Dyer is a wannabe intellectual platonist.
