Imagine how lost we would be if we weren’t anchored? We may feel lost at times because all anchored vessels have a degree of leeway. They have enough anchor line to move about on the surface of the water. In fact, there must be a certain amount of anchor rope for the anchor to even work.
Remember that. Without distance and without tension, the anchor doesn’t work.
