On this episode of the Adventures of Pipeman, Pipeman speaks to grandson, who released his debut album Death of an Optimist last December. Pipeman begins by speaking about Rocklahoma, his first festival in almost 2 years, which grandson will be playing at. grandson talks about how challenging it was but how delighted he is it’s back, while Pipeman talks about how the last year and a half has created so much anguish without live music. Pipeman asks grandson about his Debut album as he explains he felt the need to put music out when things were looking grim, to give people something to cling on to. grandson also talks about his experience on the Suicide Squad movie and how James Gunn was a big fan of his music. Finally, he talks about how he will be going on a festival run and also announces he will be working with Tom Morello of Rage Against the machine on his new album.
