The Philadelphia Phillies lose a heartbreaker to the Atlanta Braves by a score of 5-4. Jose Alvarado in a tied game forget to check third base and instead wanted to turn a double play. It was a mess.... and costed the Phils a possible chance of a victory. Bryce Harper and Andrew McCutchen both homered. So did Freddie Freeman. Zach Eflin and Ian Anderson both struggled in the first inning, but then settled throughout the first six innings or so.
