And looking at the concept of 'local re-conomy' are Sigrid Suder, Cristina Coutinho and Wendy Freeman, discussing - among other things - a recent product swap project, a new artisan market in Chãos and a side-shoot Swap in Becô.
As the cost of living becomes a greater concern for greater numbers of people, we will look at systems of exchange, services timebanks, and even local currencies.
Here, we're focussing on the area around Tomar - basically wherever people are close to the Nabão River, but these timely ideas could easily go viral!
