The Oakland A's announced they would no longer pay their minor leaguers after May. Now, they have announced they will go ahead and pay them all through the end of August. What suddenly changed that they could finally afford to do so? Why does this seem like the same reason the Owners are saying they cannot afford to pay the major league players?
Baseball has discussed the potential of an expanded Arizona Fall League. If there is a season and this happens, it actually sounds like a really good idea. WOW!
