Newman walks (literally) it off!! We are in studio watching the last of the Padres game while talking about the Padres game. Like why did Marte bunt? And why did they have Hartlieb pitch there and also not have anyone else warm up?
Anywho...This was a good week on the win/loss column but is that actually good for the Pirates who now find themselves just 5.5 games back in the Division and 4 in the Wild Card? While we are glad the Pirates are doing well the last thing we want to see is a trick to this front office and them thinking they can compete at this deadline.
Gerrit Cole will face off against Trevor Williams. Who's ready for the meltdown?
