Zh: 在北京的心脏，那里的新鲜面条和香气熏天的小吃引人驻足。
En: In the heart of Beijing, where fresh noodles and fragrant snacks tantalize the senses, our story begins.

Zh: 这里，我们的故事开始。
En: Liu, Zhang, and Chen, three friends and new students at Peking University, had just arrived in the bustling and unfamiliar city from different towns.

Zh: 刘，张，陈，三位好友，都是北京大学的新生，刚从不同的城市来到忙碌又陌生的北京。
En: Liu came from a well-to-do family and was used to using a fork to eat.

Zh: 刘是个家境不错，被爸爸妈妈捧在手心的大小姐，习惯用叉子吃饭。
En: However, Zhang and Chen came from more traditional Chinese households and had been taught to use chopsticks from a young age.

En: They decided to go and eat noodles together at the university canteen.

En: Liu picked up the chopsticks, but it seemed as though she was playing with chalk like a dinosaur.

Zh: 刘拿起筷子，却像恐龙摆弄粉笔一样，看似明白筷子的用途，但无法驾驭它们。
En: Although she seemed to understand their purpose, she couldn't control them.

Zh: 每当她想含住面条，筷子就滑落，在桌子和地板之间摇摇晃晃。
En: Every time she tried to pick up a mouthful of noodles, the chopsticks slipped, teetering between the table and the floor.
