Chris Chelios is living the life. He would have it no other way. Whether he’s seen at Chicago sporting events, sometimes with even more famous people like Eddie Veddar, Chelios is galavanting through life as if he’s walking on air, no skates this time. The three time Stanley Cup champ, two with Detroit and one with Montreal, is currently an analyst on NHL a games for ESPN while also serving a similar revolving role with the Chicago Blackhawks, whom he starred for in the 90s. Chelios is one of sports’ anomalies. He played for 28 years and retired at the age of 48. It’s reminiscent of Gordie Howe who played until he was 52, George Blanda, who also played until he was 48 in the NFL and current Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Tom Brady who is 45.
