Thank you for your comment, David Santana. If you know of a Veteran who is being released from incarceration, please have them call our National Call Center for Homeless Veterans at 877-424-3838. This service is free, confidential, and is staffed 24/7 with trained counselors who can talk with them right now and connect them with their nearest VA for assistance. We can help with reinstating benefits as well as address any housing issues they may have.

I so appreciate all you guys have done and continue to do. I have a concern on incarcerated veterans who are coming out after doing their time and when, example like me ask to reinstall my benefits it takes 5 to 6 month and pushes the veteran to be homeless. What programs can we use for this process to be more quicker.
