While Oil and other inflation sensitive instruments saw a huge increase. The Fed raised interest rates by 425 points to tame inflation which made risky things like Crypto to perform terribly. Overall, it was a tough year for financial markets but according to history we a re more likely to see an increase in the markets next year than we are a decrease.
