N2U chats with cellist Gretchen Yanover, www.gretchenyanover.com about her musical performance and recordings featuring the electric cello and looping pedal, as well as acoustic cello. Gretchen's transformational electric cello and looping padel, creates its own ensemble sound, and provides space for improvising.


A Seattle Public Schools and University of Washington graduate, Gretchen recently released her 5th album, available on all music streaming sites. As an in-demand solo artist; Gretchen has performed on-stage with actor LeVar Burton for his "LeVar Burton Live Reads Live". Her commissions and artist residencies include Seattle Symphony and Town Hall.
