Tired of feeling sick and tired? Add Yoga Nidra to your your self care or anxiety/stress management tool box and begin to feel yourself transform after each practice! This 20 minute Yoga Nidra brings deep healing rest. Practices like Yoga Nidra and meditation help those who struggle with stress, anxiety, difficulty falling asleep and can be used to calm the nervous system allowing one to move into a more restful state. This Nidra will focus on your sankalpa(heartfelt desire, wish, prayer) and a progressive muscle relaxation to ground you deeply into a restorative space between dream and sleep.
I lovingly share this practice for everyone as it has been so healing on my life's path. When I lost much of my identity and all mobility, a guided Yoga Nidra practice was able to reconnect me to inner peace. The abilities that once came naturally were no longer possible and sitting with myself became more and more difficult. Nidra invited me to let go of the version of myself I had been before cancer and supported me on my new journey of self actualization and acceptance. I hope this short practice leaves you felling even 10% better than you were before you started.
