Elise M. Stone was born in New York, went to college in Michigan, and lived in the Boston area for eight years. Ten years ago she moved to sunny Tucson, where she doesn't have to shovel snow. She’s written eleven books in two series. Her most recent novels are the “Shipwreck Point Mysteries," historical cozies featuring a Gilded Age defense attorney, a former Pinkerton detective, and an adventurous secretary. She spends her days doing her two favorite things: writing and reading.
