Happy Anniversary to me and the Mrs., Slackers!
As we celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary (24 years as a couple), we thought it would be fun to dig in to our very different upbringings, and our often disparate tastes in music. Although, we are both Gen X, the few years difference in age means our main high school soundtracks couldn't be more different.
Add in the fact that I am a northeast boy, and she is a midwestern girl, you get the age old story of two world's colliding into something beautiful, going back to when we first met in Boston in 1997.
We also chat about which artists our kids are listening to that might make it on to one of our playlists!
So get ready to hear about shows at Omaha's legendary Ranch Bowl, digging through piles at the local record store, and how having older siblings was often the catalyst for hearing new music.
