Are you struggling to keep up motivation to eat well, exercise, or take better care of your health? Why is your well-being so difficult to maintain? What if there was a way to know exactly what your body needs and when it needs it?
Shelley Ellington is a coach, teacher, and jewelry maker who teaches women to connect to their intuition in order to make the best choices for themselves and their family. Shelley says that connecting to our inner knowing can ground us. It can help us know what to eat, how to move, and when to take time for ourselves. When we connect to the core of who we are we can move confidently forward, without second guessing, worrying what others think, or giving away our authority.
Shelley shares her own "rocky" healthy journey, trying different diets, exercise programs, and exploring what was best for her. Shelley struggled with lifelong health problems where the medical profession had no answers. Feeling frustrated, she started to look inside herself to find answers.
Shelley learned how to successfully manage chronic health problems through the process of recognizing when she was out of touch, getting quiet, connecting to herself, listening to her body, and responding to what it is telling her. Shelley emphasizes that building a relationship with our body and mind is a lifelong journey. She talks about how at times we step into the darkness and must trust our inner guidance to know what to do next.
Many of us want a prescription, a diet or a to do list for our health. Shelley shares how we can adapt our situation to the current needs of our body. We can slow down our exercise routine, or eat something we've never tried before. As we grow the relationship with our intuition we can transform our lives to enjoy health, contentment, and peace.
