OP is getting married and wants to use his family's kilt and tartan colors. However, since his mother-in-law is paying for the wedding she has started calling the shots and wants him to use a tux. He said no and that he'll pay for the wedding and that's when his future wife and his mother-in-law called him an a-hole.
