The other point is silly sums of money have spent by LIV and PGA Tour that the underlying sport (which is niche) does not generate through sponsorship/tv etc that supports these prize funds. Given this new structure is a monopoly this will force economic reality and unless the PIF are prepared to throw money at it (which they no longer need to do) the rewards need to return to pre LIV days. There is a rude awakening for professional golfers.

I think you are forgetting this creating a global men's professional monopoly - this will require review by regulators in UK, Europe and likely Asia. Getting these approvals could easily take 12+ months and you cannot merge businesses until it's approved so you are looking at 2025/6.
