“Mindful Meditation Moment” The 3-step proven process on the path to Stop Bullying!
#1- Mindfulness- Kids learn to create positive connections between the why and the what, as well as increase their self-guideline of attention, and personal understandings;
#2- Meditation (or Stillness?) is a quiet moment allowing a child to self-reflect, become aware of surroundings, listen to self- in ways they have not done before, and most importantly- they learn to become more mindful of their own actions.
#3- Moment- being in the moment, in the Now gives children an opportunity to learn to BE; fill the moment with mindfulness, stillness, and a productive activity such as writing a list of the things one is grateful for, such as breakfast, health, laughter, nice clothing for school, or the joy of learning. Yes, coax your kids, give them the opportunity to be (once a day!) in a "Mindful Meditation Moment".
