In favor of him killing her is: 1. Plastic found in trash, all trash runs, his running around the house, his trying to reset the battery of his truck, him acting erratically, and that he's a narcissist and couldn't lose control.

My initial thought was she did a "gone girl" then I thought Barry had done a "breaking bad" with her body. Except without the mistakes of Jessie lol. At this point though, I'm 50/50. I don't like Barry, but I could see how he would do exactly what he did knowing she had disappeared and the spouse is the first suspect. Then I come back to there's too many things that say she didn't. So, in favor of her up and leaving are:
