Join us as Sister Jenna welcomes Traci Childress, Co-founder and Co-director of the Children's Community School to the America Meditating Radio Show.

Traci Childress began studying yoga in 1996. She apprenticed with a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher in Berlin and subsequently completed a two-year Iyengar Yoga teacher training program with Patricia Walden in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Traci is firmly committed to the idea that everyone should feel welcome to the practice of yoga and that yoga connects us to our hearts.

Traci is the co-founder and co-director of the Children's Community School in West Philadelphia, along with Merryl Gladstone, where she supports the integration of mindfulness into classroom curriculum and her Teacher Reflection and Mindful Development Program. Her Mindful Reflection Workshops incorporate reflective work, group listening, breath awareness practices, and principles and techniques from the field of yoga to support participants to connect with their passion and inspirations, and develop tools for strengthening listening skills and compassion. Visit www.childrenscommunityschool.org
