Mike Daniel is the former South Carolina Lieutenant Governor where he served beginning in 1983 until 1987. He graduated from USC in 1962 and continued on to University of South Carolina School of Law where he graduated in 1965. Mr. Daniel won the Democratic runoff election for the Lieutenant Governor seat and defeated State Senator Tom Turnipseed. He ran for governor as the Democratic nominee in the 1986 election.
