"Pentecost" comes from the Greek "pentekoste" which means "fiftieth", it is celebrated as a feast of rememberance 50 days after Easter (The 7th Sunday) to celebrate the pouring out of the Holy Spirit upon the Disciples who were "waiting" to receive the promised "Helper" from Christ.
But if we look closer at the disciples, huddled in their rooms in fear, we might find a little of ourselves too. What are you waiting for? The fire has been been poured out already! Catch on fire, blaze before God and Man!
