A 1999 book, "The Decline of Males" by anthropologist Lionel Tiger, has proven prescient. By multiple measures the decline is real, it has deepened and it shows few signs of abating. Women have thrived by entering the domain of men; many of us men seem stunned and dazed and have fallen further into ennui, hopelessness, bitterness and despair. Can anything reverse our fortunes? We talk with Professor Tiger about the possibilities.
