Ms. Mott must be made to publicly apologize to the police officers who pulled her over, the citizens of Chattanooga, and every American for claiming that she was pulled over and treated unfairly because of her race. Her behavior is nearly as egregious as that of Amy Cooper, the white woman who called the police on a black man in Central Park. In both cases, the innocent other-race people were behaving normally and legally. In both cases, the foolish woman impugned her victim and acted like a complete, entitled, racist fool. Like Amy Cooper, Ms. Mott, in her outburst and defamatory conduct, greatly diminished the chances for racial harmony in this country. I demand she apologize for her selfish and dishonest actions and take full responsibility for them.
