Jennifer Cooper (
Jennifer Magazine) joins Natalie to talk about what it takes to carve space out for women’s media. They talk about the instances they felt they were taking up too much space or didn’t have space offered to them, Another point during the episode is how sometimes it isn’t just the systematic barriers that hold us back from having women’s stories being told but the imposter syndrome and internalized voices that make us feel like our stories aren’t worth telling. They also make sure to fit in some instances to celebrate each other for the work they’re doing on this journey into independently ran women’s media.
