In this listener request episode, Heather is joined by Jon Towers of the Abracast Podcast. We will be discussing the Smiley Face Killers…or rather, the theory that they exist. This is a case that Jon presented to me back in Season 2 and he has some interesting insights and connections to different locations within the case(s).
In 2008, retired New York Police Department detective Kevin Gannon and his team of investigators went public with their theory and have attempted to prove the existence of the Smiley Face Killers. They believe the serial killer gang murders college-aged men and dumps their remains in nearby bodies of water, leaving behind sinister happy face graffiti at the death sites. So, we are going to discuss several of the deaths that have led police to believe in the existence of this sinister gang. We will also discuss our theories about what may have happened to the victims mentioned in this episode.
Additionally, we discuss our morbid curiosity with bones (human?)…found in one of our yards! We will be posting these photos on the website as well!
