Lost & Found: Montserrat Adventure

Story Transcript:
Ca: Martí estava emocionat per fer la seva primera excursió a la muntanya de Montserrat amb la seva amiga Laia.
En: Martí was excited to go on his first trip to the mountain of Montserrat with his friend Laia.

Ca: Van portar menjar, aigua i una brúixola.
En: They brought food, water and a compass.

Ca: Van començar a caminar pel sender indicat però després de caminar unes hores, Martí es va separar del grup i es va perdre.
En: They started walking along the indicated trail but after walking for a few hours, Martí got separated from the group and got lost.

Ca: No sabia cap camí per tornar i va començar a preocupar-se perquè el sol es començava a posar.
En: He didn't know any way back and he started to worry because the sun was starting to set.

Ca: De sobte, va veure una cova amagada entre roques i va decidir entrar-hi per descansar i buscar una manera de tornar pel matí.
En: Suddenly, he saw a cave hidden among rocks and decided to enter it to rest and find a way to return in the morning.

Ca: Dins la cova, Martí va trobar uns artefactes catalans antics que el van deixar sorprès.
En: Inside the cave, Martí found some ancient Catalan artefacts that surprised him.

Ca: Va veure una escudella de fang, un senglar tallat en pedra, i una ouera d'argila.
En: He saw a clay bowl, a boar carved in stone, and a clay trough.

Ca: Va reconèixer tots aquests objectes del seu estudi d'història catalana a l'escola.
En: He recognized all these objects from his study of Catalan history at school.

Ca: Amb curiositat, Martí va examinar els artefactes i va llegir un gravat que deia "home de la cova".
En: Curious, Martí examined the artifacts and read an engraving that said "cave man."

Ca: Va entendre que aquesta cova devia ser un lloc d'enterrament per a alguna tribu catalana antiga.
En: He understood that this cave must have been a burial place for some ancient Catalan tribe.

Ca: Va estar beneint la seva sort per haver-se perdut i trobar aquest lloc interessant.
En: He was blessing his luck for getting lost and finding this interesting place.

Ca: Mentrestant, Laia estava preocupada per Martí perquè ell no va aparèixer al lloc de reunió.
En: Meanwhile, Laia was worried about Martí because he didn't show up at the meeting place.

Ca: Va demanar ajuda als rangers del parc natural i van començar a buscar-lo.
En: He asked the rangers of the natural park for help and they started looking for him.

Ca: Després d'algunes hores de recerca, van trobar Martí a la cova.
En: After a few hours of searching, they found Martí in the cave.

Ca: Van quedar tots sorpresos pel que Martí havia descobert dins la cova, i els rangers van decidir explorar el lloc i estudiar els artefactes per entendre més sobre la història de Catalunya.
En: They were all surprised by what Martí had discovered inside the cave, and the rangers decided to explore the site and study the artifacts to understand more about the history of Catalonia.

Ca: Martí estava content per haver contribuït a la descoberta d'aquest lloc important i se'ls va unir en la seva investigació.
En: Martí was happy to have contributed to the discovery of this important site and joined them in their research.

Ca: Van passar la nit dins la cova, menjant el menjar que havien portat, i mirant les estrelles a través de la petita obertura del sostre.
En: They spent the night in the cave, eating the food they had brought, and looking at the stars through the small opening in the roof.

Ca: Al matí següent, van ser rescatats pels rangers i van tornar a la seva vida normal.
En: The next morning, they were rescued by rangers and returned to their normal lives.

Ca: No obstant això, Martí i Laia van mantenir una fortamenta relació amb els rangers i es van unir aventures similars al parc natural.
En: However, Martí and Laia maintained a strong relationship with the rangers and shared similar adventures in the natural park.

Ca: Els artefactes van ser traslladats a un museu local per a mers investigació, però van deixar un impacte durador en Martí i Laia.
En: The artifacts were moved to a local museum for mere research, but they left a lasting impact on Martí and Laia.

Ca: Van aprendre la importància del respecte per la història i la natura, i mai van oblidar aquella memorable experiència a la muntanya de Montserrat.
En: They learned the importance of respect for history and nature, and they never forgot that memorable experience on the mountain of Montserrat.
