Mixed swells anticipated for both days.

And for Santa Barbara County beaches, we're looking at a low rip current risk today with smaller waves at 1 to 3 feet. Tomorrow, the risk increases to high with surf heights climbing to 2 to 4 feet, possibly even reaching 5 feet with local sets. Keep an eye out for that west swell coming your way!

Further up the coast, we have San Luis Obispo County Beaches and Santa Barbara Central Coast Beaches. Today, expect surf heights of 4 to 7 feet with a slight chance of thunderstorms. The water temperature is between 53 to 55 degrees, so a wetsuit is a must. Tomorrow, surf heights will build to 5 to 8 feet, potentially reaching 7 to 9 feet with local sets up to 12 feet late in the day. Keep an eye out for that west swell and stay weather-aware for any possible thunderstorms.
