Kimberly Mack is on the show to talk about her book Living Colour's Time’s Up (33 1/3), an in-depth exploration of the 1990 Living Colour album Time's Up. The album was recorded in the aftermath of the critical and commercial success of the band’s debut record Vivid. Through interviews with members of Living Colour, and others involved in the making of Time's Up, Mack details the creation and reception of this artistically challenging album, while examining the legacy of this culturally important and groundbreaking American rock band.

Just recently seen Extreme and Living Colour at the Forum in Melbourne Australia. Living Colour where effing amazing. Took my sister and her boyfriend to the show and we already knew how good Extreme would be. At the end walking back to the car and the ride home the conversation was how effing good was Living Colour. My sister and boyfriend had never heard of Living Colour. I'm 50, and knew who I was going to see. The joy on my face when all they wanted to talk about was Living Colour, I was over the moon. Corey's voice at his age was out standing. Extreme/Living Colour Melbourne was the 2nd best gig I have ever seen. The best gig ever was Extreme/Mr.Big 2018. If anyone has the chance to see Living Colour live, go go go. They are absolutely amazing, I just am gobsmacked at how good Corey's voice still is! WOW WOW WOW! BRILLIANT.
