the mcgraw hill textbook in texas should be pulled immediately, texas has already proven itself to have racist people in their school systems and other institutions, along with their historical issues of racism and discrimination. by allowing this book to remain in classrooms, it will give the racist teachers an opportunity to indoctrinate their evil biased views upon the students even more, with a scapegoat of the textbook. by allowing these books to remain in school, it also allows for more minority students to be lied to even more in school. which gives followers of white supremacy a moment of opportunity. i think mcgraw hill should be sued, and fined. whoever the last person to authorize this book, should be fired. i live in the south, we have enough issues as it is in the school system.

I think not giving credit to the source has nothing to do with it coming from a negstive source, its about not admitting it pre existed in black and brown cultures. Its partially about belueving the white version is better than the original, due to entitlement and their whiteness. Yes there are people who hate to admit apppropriation from minorities.

I disagree, i think a lot of people take black and brown culture intentionally with negative purposes. Sometimes its done to appear more cool or in style with black inner city kids, but hate the black people they got it from originally. The embracing of lighter skin vs dark smin is tge slave master syndrome of only liking minorities looking similar to slave owners/colonizers. Which in turn created colorism.
