The rest of that quote is "I don’t know where people find the time to hate.” It's attributed to Imam Hamzah Mangera and it's something he said during the funeral service for seven children, victims of a devastating Spryfield house fire in 2017. The Barho family and their loss is a focal point of a new book called "Eye of the Ocean - Stories of Love, Hope and Empathy" (Pottersfield Press). Janice Landry is a storyteller and author who is also the daughter of a firefighter. And she shares her perspective on the grief and pain that so many of the "helpers" in our community have had to live with as part of their job.
