Philadelphia Phillies catcher JT Realmuto left Tuesday’s game after being hit in the throat by the baseball. After being evaluated for concussion and other possible injuries JT returned to the lineup for Wednesday’s series finale against the St Louis Cardinals. Realmuto went 2-5 with 2 runs scored in the afternoon win while Aaron Nola pitched 6 innings, striking out 3 batters en route to his 2nd victory of the year. Joel Embiid led the Sixers to a victory over the Detroit Pistons. The Phillies won both series this week after taking 2 of 3 from both the Washington Nationals and the St Louis Cardinals. Phillies return home for a 10-game homestand where the Pittsburgh Pirates, Colorado Rockies, and the Chicago White Sox all come to Philadelphia. The 76ers are currently on an 8-game winning streak and host the Orlando Magic and Brooklyn Nets to end the regular season.
