This past Sunday at our Christmas Eve Service pastor Greg Timms shared that when God says something, it is really good, powerful and important. We often hear or see these words over this Christmas time, “Emmanuel - “God with us”, “Joy to the World” and “Peace on Earth”. We were designed to live in perfect peace, absolute joy and with the presence of Christ with us every single day. What good is a gift that needs batteries but arrives on Christmas morning without batteries. The same is true of us, we need batteries, not Duracell, but Emmanuel. Jesus said I am sending my Son to be with you, to bring you peace and to bring you joy.
