Brad is first joined by Dr. Robert Shapiro, Chairman of Sonecon, an economic advisory firm and a Senior Fellow of the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.

The two analyze the March jobs report, which showed that the economy added 431,000 jobs and that the unemployment rate shrunk down to 3.6%. 
They also discuss what's causing inflation, and what can be done about it.
Additionally, Dr. Shapiro explains the significance of Russia defaulting on its national debt.
Finally, Brad and Dr. Shapiro express their concerns over Tesla CEO Elon Musk buying 9% of Twitter's stock shares, as well as the oversized power that the 'Billionaire class' possesses in the United States.

Dr. Shapiro is an internationally-known economist who has advised, among others, President Bill Clinton, Vice President Al Gore, Jr., British Prime Ministers Tony Blair and Gordon Brown, and then U.S. Senators Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. He was Under Secretary of Commerce for Economic Affairs in the Clinton Administration.

During the second half of the show, Brad is joined by Edwith Theogene, Senior Director of Advocacy and Campaigns for Generation Progress, the youth engagement arm of American Progress.

The two analyze the significance of Justice Ketanji Brown-Jackson being confirmed as the first black female Supreme Court Justice in the history of the United States. 
They also discuss the 'culture wars' that the Republican party is trying to make the focus of the upcoming November midterm elections.
