And the only way anyone in prison knows what you did to get in there, is if they see you on TV and or if YOU tell them personally... I went to prison and you barely know what others are in there for. Also, he didn't just run around all hours of the night doing whatever. We went to night school to get our diploma, I just wanted to move out on my own and have my own place, she ( Carolyn) thought it would be better to rent out her bedroom since she had kicked Joseph out for being abusive to her.. I moved in that Sunday, he murdered her Wednesday and I was back home on Friday... tell me how a 17 year old is supposed to handle and deal with finding out her boyfriend murdered a little girl? A little girl who was rude to her because she was jealous I was his girlfriend and she had a crush on him? I literally shook when you said my name in your podcast, it still haunts me I think, I think it might forever. I do know Diane forgave Jeremy, as a woman of God that's what you do, so I know that she was at least in peace with that, God bless her. Just remember when you are talking about these topics, that everyone involved has had their own feelings and issues dealing with whatever has happened. I still remember it like it was yesterday and I'm 46 now, I was 17 then, and it was freaking traumatic for myself and family also!

Hello, I am Rachel Theiss, the girlfriend of Jeremy Gipson at the time of Jessica's murder. I want to know how you found out my name!? It wasn't in the papers because I was a minor and had NOTHING to do with what he did!! I have struggled my whole life because of what he did to her! I had just moved in with him because his mom thought it was better to rent out her room instead of us getting an apartment together! His dad was an abusive POS and that's how I moved in sorta... Carolyn was a lovely lady who probably just didn't want to believe he did that, and ALL OF US were stunned, especially April and I, I cried for MONTHS after that blamed myself even and it was a Chrysler New Yorker not a lebaron! He used my car only because my keys were in the open and Carolyn had been hiding hers just in case Joseph broke in to steal the car from her. I would have never been allowed to move in with him if his past wasn't hidden, my dad was hysterical and I didn't believe he would have done something like that! I don't think he should ever get out either! I've tried too close that chapter and it's been so hard, I even wrote to him in prison right before his parole hearing and was glad when he told me they gave him another 5 years before he sees them again. I understand that you don't know everything in this story, but you should stick to facts rather than make up your own ideas of what went on! It was horrible, the whole damn thing! I blamed myself for soo long and even went to Diane's old house to apologize to her for what my boyfriend had done to her daughter!! But they had already moved from there by the time I finally made it back to KY. I was robbed of a great life with my dad, mom & brother and sister in KY and have lived my life since in Colorado. I could've had such a better life if he hadn't done that to her! If I hadn't dated him and moved in with him, maybe if he would have been in treatment like he should've been. I vaguely remember his mom and him saying something about that case, but it was put in a way that I literally blew it off like it was nothing because I had no idea the real truth. I also recently learned that the family loved me because he acted and did better when I was around. I just f*#!ing wish that I never would've met him!!!
