Jean Douthwright - CIA Off Campus

September 1

Jean A. Douthwright is an associate professor of biology at RIT and faculty adviser for the RIT Community for Peace and Justice. Research assistance was provided by members of the RIT-CIA Off Campus Coalition.

Since the mid-80s, student, faculty and community activists have propelled the CIA's illegal and anti-democratic activities to the forefront of the academic debate over research and recruitment privileges. CIA Off Campus presents an overview of the Agency's illicit endeavors and details the multi-faceted involvement on U.S. campuses. From monitoring political affiliations, groups and bias to active recruitment.

Jean Douthwright tells Ed Opperman of these devious covert activities and where it is leading us.
