Erin Custer, RN, is the Founder of Universal Pathways. Erin found her place in teaching during her career as a hospice nurse. Teaching our community how to have the courage to care beyond the science during the end of life journey. Erin founded Universal Pathways, and end of life education certification program for families, caregivers and providers alike. Teaching end of life care is a human skill that we don’t learn in traditional medicine and rarely from our elders anymore.
Various end of life professionals have contributed to the curriculum, making the certification a truly unique certification! Learners will be equipped to provide the most holistic support at the end of life, learning from the perspectives of various medical, spiritual and hospice professionals. The program will prepare our students to guide the dying with confidence to support them physically, emotionally and spiritually. We educate on topics ranging from physiological considerations, communication guides, ritual significance and promoting spiritual healing for ease in transitions.
