Once upon a time, the X-Men movies were the cream of the crop.
Jake + Mitch launch X-Men Month by taking a deep-dive into one of their favorite titles, ‘X2: X-Men United’. Because, if for no other reason, a little bit of history needs to be re-written as this flick clearly deserves better.
Along the way they tackle key questions:
Are the X-Men better off without Cyclops?
How much Wolverine is too much?
Is ‘X2’ a top 10 comic book movie of all-time?
The mutants on both page and screen have stood the test of time. For all of their creative ingenuity and social commentary there’s always richness to be found with the X-Men. But nearly 18 years later, it’s time we accepted the truth: ‘X2’ is top-tier.
