That's what a new lawsuit says brought by the descendant of a slave named "Renty" whose image adorns the cover of a Harvard publication that the university sells for $40. She says Harvard is using the image without permission and is therefore profiting from photos taken by a racist professor who was determined to prove the inferiority of black people.
