This week on the Reverend and the Reprobate the guys give you the opinions you didn't ask for and don't want concerning 97.1 The Freak and 96.7/1310 The Ticket. As strange as it may sound this hit pretty close to home for the Rev and Rep as friends of the show Mike Rhyner and Michael "Grubes" Gruber have come under attack from their former co-hosts and employer because they wanted to do something cool. Do they need us to defend them, absolutely not. We will likely not even make the footnotes in the stories of any of these titans of major market radio. But here's the deal man, they don't deserve the rub they've been given. They're trying to do something fun and creative again (something DFW radio desperately needs) and they're our friends. That means something to us. Period. So here it is, our take, one of many that you don't want and couldn't care less about. Love it or hate it we don't care. Don't say we didn't warn you.
