Taylor Rhodes lost his life to an accidental overdose in 2019 and his mom is making sure something good comes out of her family's tragedy.
Kerri Rhodes is a licensed therapist with 28 years in the mental health field. She admits that nothing could have prepared her for the journey her family would take dealing with her son's addiction and untimely death.
She is determined to find solutions and fill in the gaps in the addiction and mental health space and currently works as part of the H.A.R.P (Helping Addicts Recover Progressively) team in the Chesterfield County Jail. She works with the men and women of HARP around their addiction and trauma by providing both group and individual therapy.
Keri and Sheriff Karl Leonard use out-of-the-box techniques and treatments that are changing the lives in the Chesterfield County Jail and beyond.
Their documentary is called Jailhouse Redemption.
