Laura Poindexter is a native New Yorker (Harlem), but now residesin Baltimore, MD and had worked for (18) yrs. as an Altruistic Community Leader & Social Services Professional. This was an ideal profession based on the fact that she was recovering from pretty much everything and accredits God’s Grace for her deliverance.

Now 49 yrs. old, a recently anomaly of events caused her to once again become dismayed with her existence. Life showed up in a challenging and most oppositional way, addiction no longer an option…she was inspired to write for her life. Laura now lives from the inside out, favoring joy over happiness as the Executive Producer of “The Literary Corner” Blog Talk Radio, she is also a writer, specializing in Christian Poetry and the CEO of Laura’s Entertainment Consulting Services.

As the Executive Producer & host of "The Literary Corner" Laura pays it forward by giving Aspiring Artist, new Business and Non-Profit Organizations the opportunity to shine by providing them with exposure and publicity through the BTR platform. Her exceptional marketing skills and ability to make the right connections has initiated major growth for her BTR station.
