But a few years ago my wife & I decided to take control of our finances and got on a plan to pay off $80,000 of debt in under two years. It took us 20 months of hard work and sacrifice, but it was worth every day of grinding. And we weren't some crazy high income earners -- just a youth pastor & a nurse -- but we finally told our money what to do. Now we feel freedom and have zero debt in life.
I want everyone to have that feeling, and I believe everyone can experience it. So I break down a couple of the key things that made the biggest difference for us getting debt free.
