We are living in a country that is fighting a serious health epidemic.  That health epidemic is obesity. More than a third of adults (34.9 percent) were obese as of 2011 to 2012.1 More than two-thirds of adults were overweight or obese (68.6 percent). Even more problematic is the fact that nearly 40 percent of middle-aged adults, ages 40 to 59, were obese (39.5 percent), which was more than younger adults, ages 20 to 39 (30.3 percent) or older adults, ages 60 and over (35.4 percent).  Another concern about obesity is it not only takes a toll on our bodies, but it can  also takes a toll on our relationships!

Dr. Angela Tran, is a Medical Doctor who specializes in obesity.  After years of perscribing medication for conditions that have their root cause in obesity, Dr. Tran left her practice in order to focus on weight management.  Join us as we discuss the topic of obesity in this country, how obesity can impact our relationships, and most importantly what we can do about it.
